Ansys Registry#
The Ansys Registry provides container images and Helm charts needed to install the Ansys software you have purchased.
Note
Instructions to install the Ansys software itself are provided in the associated installation guide for your product. This documentation explains how to use the registry to pull the required artifacts.
The Ansys Registry lets you take these actions:
Pull Docker images using the Docker CLI.
Pull Helm charts using the Helm CLI.
Pull OCI artifacts attached to Helm charts using the ORAS CLI.
Prerequisites#
Confirm that you have an Ansys ID account with access to the purchased Ansys software.
Verify that Docker and/or Helm CLI are installed on your machine.
Setup#
Configure access and authenticate with the Ansys Registry as indicated in One-time setup.
Use the standard Docker or Helm commands to pull artifacts (images or charts):
# Pull a Docker image docker pull oci.registry.ansys.com/<product>/<image>:<tag> # Pull a Helm chart helm pull oci://oci.registry.ansys.com/<product>/<chart> --version <version>
Install your Ansys software as indicated in its installation guide.
